Botsolar Solutions is pleased to offer the Berin Centre Pivot for sale in Botswana. The BERIN pivot was designed in Zimbabwe specifically for small scale farmers and patented in 22 countries.

We are proud to be associated with this pivot, as we believe it will provide food security and an income stream for small scale farmers in Botswana. Furthermore, this pivot will be proudly manufactured in Botswana for the Botswana market.

The Berin Pivot has a coverage radius of 18m and is suitable for areas up to 2.5ha in a 7 day cycle. As it can be powered entirely by solar energy or generator, it ensures sustainable and cost effective irrigation for your crops. It has a capacity of 5m3 / hour at 3-4 bar pressure.

This pivot is suitable for potatoes, maize, butternut, onions, watermelon, and other vegetables. It caters for a variety of crops.

Moving the pivot is a manual process involving 3 people. The water can be pumped directly from a borehole should there be sufficient volume, or from storage tanks. It can be coupled to fish tanks which provides nutrients for the soil and another income stream for the farmer.

Botsolar Solutions, in association with the designer of the pivot will provide help and training to operate the pivot at training sites throughout the country. It is a great addition to any small scale farmer wishing to improve their lives.
